Tesla has announced a new engineering center in California. Portal reports Border.

Tesla has historically been headquartered in California since its founding in 2003, but relocated to Austin, Texas in early 2021. The reason for this was the conflict between the president of the company, Elon Musk, and California officials.

It has been reported that Tesla will start working in Palo Alto, where Hewlett Packard was previously located. Despite difficult relations with government officials, one of the Tesla Gigafactories is located in the city of Fremont, near San Francisco. The company’s other Gigafactories are located in Nevada and New York, as well as Berlin and Shanghai. It is known that California Governor Gavin Newsom welcomed Musk’s decision to open a headquarters in the state.

Formerly socialbites.ca reportedTesla’s co-founder, Martin Eberhard, criticizes self-driving cars. According to him, Musk’s over-enthusiasm for autopilot technology could be dangerous for the company.
