The YouTube channel of the famous Russian graphic designer, traveler and blogger Artemy Lebedev was removed from the platform on February 22, 2023. socialbites.ca correspondent drew attention to the disappearance of the account.
When trying to access Blogger’s page (https://www.youtube.com/@temalebedev), YouTube throws an error with the text “this page is not available”. This usually means that the account has been removed from the video platform. Error similar to writer The Fontanka broadcast is observed when political blogger Dmitry Ivanov (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), better known by the pseudonym Kamikaze Di, takes to the channel.
At the time of the news, neither Lebedev nor Ivanov commented on the removal of their YouTube channel. In both cases, Fontanka writes, the reason for the block was a “violation of the terms of service.”
During the blocking, more than 1.1 million people subscribed to Artemy Lebedev’s YouTube channel. By comparison, Kamikaze Dee had 1.7 million subscribers.
