Two teenagers arrested in Singapore for working on ISIS* on the online game Roblox

Singapore police arrested 15 and 16-year-old youths who are fond of ISIS (the organization is banned in Russia) and learn about the terrorist organization on thematic servers of the popular online game Roblox. In this respect informs Edition of the South China Morning Post.

It was recorded that the Singapore police started monitoring the youth two years ago. The reason for the audit was that the guys often played Roblox on Islamic servers and introduced themselves as ISIS militants. Also, one of the youth created his own servers, where he parodied the military conflicts between Iraq and Syria.

Roblox wasn’t the only source of information about ISIS. Teens also frequently watched YouTube videos of eschatological predictions and other far-right and neo-Nazi ideas.

Police believe the arrested youths communicated via social networks with 18-year-old Mohammed Irfan, who was previously arrested for preparing a terrorist attack in Singapore.

Currently, unusual Roblox fans are prohibited from making public statements and the space allowed for them to act is limited. The court did not state what punishment would be given to the young people.
