Tesla needs Elon Musk to start looking for his potential successor as CEO, given the tremendous level of stress he’s under. In this respect business insider said long-time Tesla investor Ross Gerber.
“Many of Elon’s fans think he’s not human, and I disagree. This huge stress from Tesla, SpaceX and Twitter leadership is suddenly bad for his health,” he said.
Gerber assured him that in such a situation, Musk would not be able to work as hard as he could for Tesla’s benefit. He also stated that some major shareholders agreed with him.
According to the publication, Gerber plans to run for the Tesla board of directors and is backed by Tesla’s third-largest shareholder, Leo Coguang. “No matter how Tesla works, I am concerned about Elon’s well-being and health,” the businessman added.
Musk acknowledged that the continued leadership of the three companies has impacted his well-being. He also noted that he “wouldn’t wish anyone such pain” while talking about working to save Twitter from bankruptcy.
It was previously reported that Tesla considering taking over Sigma Lithium Corp., which mines lithium, the main element of batteries for electric vehicles.
