Windows Vice President Kevin Gallo announced that he is leaving Microsoft after 30 years at the company. In this respect informs SoftPedia quotes Gallo’s LinkedIn profile.
The senior executive did not explain why he left one of the world’s largest IT companies, but hinted that he could start teaching.
“My volunteer work with youth and youth has always been important to me, so I plan to take this activity closely. I don’t even rule out that I’m going to go into education and start teaching,” Gallo wrote.
Gallo also led the development departments in the Windows division. In his post on LinkedIn, he emphasized that he would not give up programming.
“And of course, I don’t plan on switching to a Mac – that would be too much,” Gallo wrote.
SoftPedia noted that the public’s refusal to switch to the Mac was a joke, and many Microsoft employees supported it in their farewell letters when they left.
