Streamers on Twitch and YouTube raise $1 million to rebuild Turkey after earthquake

Turkish publisher Hasan Payker, working online under the pseudonym HasanAbi, organized a fundraiser to help the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the earthquakes and raised more than $1 million in a matter of days. informs DTF version.

The fundraising, announced by HasanAbi, supported a number of popular Twitch and YouTube streamers and bloggers such as daph39, nmplol, malenatudi and more.

Hassan Piker donated $45,000 at the start of the charity event.

Not only internet stars but also some IT companies attended HasanAbi meeting. For example, Krafton studio, known for the popular online game Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), donated $20,000, while the same company transferred $100,000 to the account of the charity Dude.
