Counterpoint Research experts studied the design of the Google Pixel 7 Pro and came to the conclusion that 51% of the cost of a smartphone belongs to Samsung parts. In this respect informs Phone Arena version.

It turned out that the Pixel 7 Pro cost Google $413. About 20% of these are the Samsung screen cost, and 7% is the Tensor G2 processor, which is also produced by the South Korean technology giant. Samsung also has cameras and a few other modules like RAM.

At the same time, Google itself only has a 7% share. The other 5% – at Micron, 4% – at SK Hynix, which supplies non-volatile memory modules to Google, 3% and 2% respectively, to Skyworks and Sunwoda, responsible for Wi-Fi antennas and other communications. Sony, Analog Devices, MuRata and other companies participate in the production of Google smartphones with smaller shares.

PhoneArena notes that Google probably doesn’t have a 100 percent margin for flagship smartphones, which is unusual given its R&D spending.

Formerly socialbites.ca Wrote That the Pixel 7 Pro has entered the list of the best-selling Google-branded smartphones in the company’s history.
