In a new corporate mailing list, Meta’s leadership (known as extremist and banned in Russia) asked the company’s top executives to work harder or step down and not interfere with it becoming more efficient. In this respect informs Fortune publication citing sources within the IT company.
According to the publication, motivational posting is part of the “fit” of management at Meta. Within the scope of this procedure, the institution now carries out a kind of “performance evaluation” in various departments.
Details on Meta’s requirements for administrators were not disclosed. What is known is that middle and senior managers are asked to be “individual contributors”.
Fortune writes that Meta has previously laid off 13% of its employees, causing great concern among the remaining workers. The fire was added by the company’s president, Mark Zuckerberg, who declared 2023 the year of productivity in a recent financial report and pledged to fire executives responsible for unproductive projects.
