The Apple Pay Later installment program has begun to be tested on employees of the company’s retail network. In this respect informs Bloomberg.

According to the source, the company has expanded internal testing of the service to a thousand Apple Store employees. According to journalists, such a decision is a sign that the installment service will start soon.

Apple Pay Later will allow users to split their purchases into four equal payments within six weeks with no additional interest or fees. To implement Pay Later, the company is known to have created a subsidiary credit institution Apple Financing LLC, which will be separated from the parent Apple legal entity.

Availability of the service outside of the United States has not been disclosed.
