LG announces mass integration of Apple services on partner TVs

LG has extended the integration of Apple services to its webOS TV operating system. In this respect informs Edition of Digital Trends.

Apple TV, Apple Music, HomeKit, and AirPlay services are now available for all TV brands that are part of the webOS Hub program. We are talking about models running webOS that are not manufactured by LG. The webOS Hub group includes nearly 200 brands including Seiki, Eko, Stream System, Konka, Aiwa, Hyundai and more.

It is emphasized that AirPlay and HomeKit will only be available on OLED TVs and UHD TVs running webOS Hub 2.0. By contrast, AppleTV and Apple Music will appear on all models.
