China has commissioned the world’s first unmanned research vessel Zhuhaiyun. reported by the centre. television Chinese.

According to the channel, the ship has an autonomous navigation system and remote control technology. All major systems, including power and propulsion systems, were developed in China.

The ship is 88.5 meters long, 14 meters wide and has an estimated depth of 6.1 meters. It has a speed capacity of – 13 knots – 18 knots in economy mode.

It is reported that the ship can be used for a variety of ocean exploration missions, including oceanographic surveys, cartography, sampling and patrols.
