Developers of the popular AnTuTu benchmark published Top 10 most powerful smartphones for December 2022. According to the AnTuTu team, the first smartphones have appeared in the Android world that can compare in terms of performance with existing iPhones based on Apple’s proprietary processors.
We are talking about the flagships Vivo X90 Pro + and iQOO 11 Pro, based on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, which took the first two places in the ranking. The devices scored 1.29 million and 1.27 million points, respectively, in the benchmark, which is record levels.
“It appears to be the first time that the performance of an Android device has approached that of an iPhone,” wrote AnTuTu.
The Asus ROG Phone 6, powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, placed third with a score of 1.1 million. A month ago, this model took first place in the AnTuTu rating.
Lenovo Legion Y70 and Asus ZenFone 9 models with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processors took 1.1 million and 1.07 points respectively in the top 5. Next up are the Xiaomi Mi 12T Pro, Redmi K50 Ultra, iQOO Neo7, BlackShark 5 Pro and Galaxy Z Fold4 5G.
