Taiwanese electronics manufacturer MSI introduced its Pen 2 device at CES 2023, which can act both as a pen for touchscreen devices and a regular pen for writing and drawing on paper. About informs Edition of The Verge.

A unique feature of the new MSI pen is a mechanism that allows you to remove the pen from the nib to the desired length. The gadget’s mechanism is similar to that used in ordinary stationery pens with replaceable cores.

The rest of the Pen 2 is a traditional pen. The model uses MPP2.6 technology, which allows it to recognize 4096 degrees of inclination. The pen uses a fast charging system that allows the device to run for up to 10 hours after only 5 minutes of connecting to an external power source. Also, the author of The Verge noted that the Pen 2 is equipped with vibration that provides haptic feedback.

The only major downside to the novelty is that it’s only sold as a bundle with the MSI Creator Z laptop and costs $3,000 (about 217,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).
