Curious mod maker AliNT has published a configuration file on the NexusMods site that optimizes the performance of the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in RTX mode. About informs WCCFtech portal.
It was noted that the updated version of The Witcher from CD Projekt Red went on sale without being optimized. And while Polish developers are trying to fix issues affecting the game’s performance, a fan alone fixed the issue in ray tracing mode.
An optimized ray tracing configuration file available for download from Nexus Mods contains general lighting settings that improve game performance without affecting graphics. It is noted that there are still issues in some cases, but thanks to the work of AlINT, it was possible to improve performance by up to 40-50% in v0.3 configuration and almost 25% in v0.4.
The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
