Among the worst optimized games of 2022 on PC are an enhanced version of the RPG The Witcher 3, the horror The Callisto Protocol, and the superhero action Gotham Knights. This was reported by the journalists of the portal DSOGaming.
It was noted that the optimization quality was tested using parameters such as the efficiency of using all processor cores, full adherence to system requirements, ease of control on the keyboard and mouse. Journalists explained that they are testing the games with the latest updates, not the version available on release day.
DSOGaming said that The Witcher 3, The Callisto Protocol and Gotham Knights use computer processors inefficiently. According to them, the games run with freezes and low frames per second despite meeting the system requirements.
Journalists also complained about other games. For example, the re-launch of Saints Row was criticized for unreasonably high requirements for the video card and inappropriate mouse control, and Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin – the problem with the framerate in battles, which is abundant in the game.
