Japanese company eKod Works has released a special gadget that helps fight nomophobia, the smartphone addiction. as reported area companies visually resemble a touchscreen mobile device with an innovation called AcryPhone.
The fake smartphone of Japanese designer Takayuki Fukuzawa is made of acrylic. This is a 14.6×7.1×0.8cm plate that you can hold in your hand instead of a smartphone.
AcryPhone was released in two versions: the standard model is visually not very similar to the gadget, and the second is made more realistic and similar to the iPhone.
The “smartphone” is equipped with a protective film and is fully compatible with “iPhone” cases in size. Also, people with nomophobia are advised to purchase coatings in the form of camera lenses to permanently install such a device on the street.
The manufacturer claims that the AcryPhone in the palm of your hand will be perceived as a gadget, and a person may eventually give up on real smartphones. The standard model will cost 3.3 thousand yen ($25) and the advanced model will cost 3.5 thousand yen ($26.5).
Earlier, in one of the Indian villages, local authorities banned about smartphone use by minors.
