In the second reading, the State Duma supported the ban on transferring personal data to foreign reporters while performing public services or performing a government function. It has been reported TASS.

The authors of the corresponding amendment to the law “On information, information technologies and information protection” were Alexander Khinshtein, chairman of the State Duma IT committee, together with his deputy Anton Gorelkin.

Within the scope of the project, the transfer of payment documents, data on money transfers and other personal data of Russian citizens in foreign messengers is prohibited.

Roskomnadzor undertakes to compile a list of such messengers and publish it on its official website.

Former State Duma of the Russian Federation accepted In the third reading, a law requiring district officials to report cases of incitement to corruption crimes within five days.

The explanatory note of the document states that the project aims to improve anti-corruption legislation in order to identify, minimize and eliminate corruption risks.
