The most striking feature of the S99 is its integrated imaging system. It has a triple camera module consisting of a 108MP main camera with AI, a 16MP macro and ultra-wide-angle camera, and a new 64MP night vision lens with two powerful infrared lights. Besides night vision, it makes it possible to capture an accurate image in the range of 15 to 20 meters. This type of 64 MP night vision of the Doogee S99 is the same one used in professional devices instead of a regular camera’s night mode.
Designed with a ring of two LEDs and two powerful infrared lights, it is bonded to premium materials and features a 6.3″ FHD+ LCD display. The set is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, which comes with 15GB of RAM (8GB). +7GB expanded) and 128GB plus 1TB expandable ROM. Equipped with a 6000mAh battery that supports 33W Thunder charging and 15W wireless charging.
It has IP68 and IP69K ratings against water, dust and drops from 1.8 meters above the ground. Other interesting features include GPS, NFC, a navigation system powered by Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou, and side-mounted fingerprint recognition.
The Doogee S99 will make its world debut on December 22-23 at a limited discount price of $179 from its original price of $329.
