The owner of Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro smartphone, who lives in the city of Hejie in eastern China, went to court because smoke came out of the device in his hand. This was reported by the Chinese portal my drivers.
According to the tech user, the smartphone failed twice in less than three months. The man said he bought the iPhone 13 Pro from one of the local stores on November 5, 2021.
In December of the same year, he applied to the store due to the appearance of strange spots on the gadget’s screen. Meanwhile, the smartphone was repaired and returned to its owner.
However, in January 2022, the iPhone 13 Pro smartphone again failed. According to the plaintiff, the case of the smartphone was very hot and the device was smoking. The owner refused to repair it and demanded that the smartphone be replaced with a new one. The seller refused to comply with these conditions.
As a result, the court in Heze ruled that the smartphone had quality issues and the seller had to replace it without any additional payment. Apple has not yet made an official statement regarding this case.
Formerly socialbites.ca Wrote that smartphones have exploded more frequently in recent years and this is usually due to overheating of the battery. Experts noted that both device users of Chinese vendors and iPhone fans may be in danger.
