A month after the iPhone 15 landed in the Russian market, prices dipped by 15 to 28 percent. Experts point to fluctuations in purchase prices as the main driver behind the decline. This is the takeaway from industry chatter and market data cited as News.
Yandex data in the Products section confirms the trend. Since the end of last month, the iPhone 15 with 128 GB has fallen about 15 percent from its initial, post-launch price. The platform shows roughly 82.5 thousand rubles as the current figure. The iPhone 15 Pro 256 GB saw a sharper drop, about 28 percent, landing near 128.5 thousand rubles. The iPhone 15 Pro Max with the same storage option also declined by a similar margin.
Participants in the market who spoke with Izvestia attribute the price move to a routine absence of shortages for new Apple devices. Artur Makhlayuk, a business analyst at Fplus IT, noted that since the sales kickoff, average iPhone 15 prices have fallen by 12 to 15 percent, varying by model. He also observed roughly a 20 thousand ruble gap between marketplace listings and traditional retailers for the iPhone 15 Pro 256 GB.
Wildberries indicated that sellers set prices independently in the marketplace environment.
Lyubov Morozova, lead product manager at diHouse, explained that the price drop reflects the arrival on the Russian market of parallel import models. A sufficient supply of these devices appears to satisfy consumer demand for compatible iPhones.
Rasim Lemberansky, head of a restoration network, warned that global supply constraints still exist, particularly for models that rely on physical SIM cards. The sentiment is echoed by market observers who see occasional supply bottlenecks on a global scale affecting specific configurations.
Denis Kuskov, CEO of TelecomDaily, affirmed that parallel import channels for the iPhone 15 into Russia are well established, with no significant obstacles to obtaining units for domestic sale or resale abroad. The existing framework supports robust retail activity even when constraints appear in other regions.
Earlier analyses from multiple research firms noted a cooling in demand for the iPhone 15 across other markets in Asia, notably in China, where Huawei Mate 60 Pro has drawn consumer interest away from Apple’s newest models. This shift underlines how regional competitive dynamics and flagship launches influence pricing strategies and buyer interest globally. Analysts continue to monitor how cross-border pricing and parallel imports interact with official distribution channels in large markets.
