Xiaomi has updated the list of older devices whose official support has been discontinued forever by the company. Portal reports xiaomiui.

The list is replenished with smartphones Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. All devices were released in 2019. As Xiaomiui points out, millions of people continue to use the Redmi Note 8 Pro right now. Inside the device is MediaTek’s Helio G90T chipset, which makes it one of the best smartphones of its time in the mid-range price category.

End of service means that the manufacturer will no longer release security updates for these tools. This means that their owners will be more exposed to cyber threats. In this case, there is only one way out – to buy a more modern device with the current version of the operating system.

Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itBecause Xiaomi Mi A1 2017 owners had the opportunity to update their smartphone to Android 13. Official support for the smartphone ended shortly after the release of Android 9, but enthusiasts continue to support the device using custom firmware.
