How to start the event and access the Color of the Violet Garden event in Genshin Impact
To participate in the Violet Garden Colors event, you must meet the following requirements:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30.
- Complete the “Escape from Rito Island” quest in the Archon quest “An Unchanging God and an Eternal Utopia: Volume 2, Chapter 1”.
It’s worth noting that for the event to start properly, you’ll need to complete all side tasks that individual heroes can participate in. If you decide to start an event quest and you see the caption “The character is busy with another task”, find this task in the task log and complete it. This will free the hero and allow you to interact with him when completing the event’s missions.
In addition, the developers recommend that you complete the following legend tasks before the start of the event:

The stage becomes available after completing the story quest ‘The Stories of the Violet Garden. Chapter 1 – The Strange Story of Suiko’s Drunk Liqueur. Open the event menu and click “Track target” to continue the task. Go to the pier and talk to the poet named Otomo.
The poet will ask you to take four pictures of Inazuma rarities to inspire him. Unique plants can be tracked on an interactive map or use our hint.
To take a photo of a plant, open the Paimon menu and find the section of the same name. If you’ve selected the correct object, a special frame will appear when you move the camera and the plant will be marked with a translucent circle.
