Modder Velocity Punch has released the debut trailer for the Half-Life: Reamped mod for Half-Life 2. This adaptation tells about the events after the end of the first Half-Life, but at the same time the gameplay is similar to doom 2016.
According to the description, the events unfold years after the Black Mesa incident. The world has been engulfed in chaos and millions of people are dying, although it is not yet clear who is behind this.
In terms of gameplay, the novelty resembles a mix of Quake and Doom. In the video you can see dynamic skirmishes, different types of weapons and different enemies. There is also a very rousing soundtrack.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known when this mod will be released.
And another enthusiast by the nickname Hezus is preparing his Half-Life: Enriched project. This is a global update of the original game, which should improve the graphics, modify maps and reduce the number of loading screens. At the same time, the game will still run on the Goldsrc engine.
