The embargo on publishing remake previews has been lifted Dead Space, which resulted in many videos with new gameplay and graphics comparison on the network.

Highlights from the preview:

  • Project compared to remake Resident Evil 2 – the authors have managed to modernize the game, keeping the atmosphere of the 2008 original;
  • The authors rewrote some dialogues and changed some audio recordings;
  • Now Isaac will talk when meeting NPCs or during conversations;
  • The new lighting makes the game feel darker;
  • There were eerie sounds that forced the atmosphere;
  • Completely new cutscenes have been added:
  • The remake is just as scary and creepy as the original;
  • Ishimura has become one big location. You can move around the ship without any downloads – the map will be completely seamless;
  • In some places, a dynamic system is used for respawning opponents – this creates a surprise effect;
  • More locked chests and lockers have been added to the game.

Remake release Dead Space takes place on January 27 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Earlier, the developers pre-ordered and revealed the official system requirements, as well as showed off a collector’s edition for $275, which will include Isaac’s full-size illuminated helmet.
