3D Realms and Jasozz Games have released on Steam the first chapter of an old-school shooter in the spirit of DOOM and Blood Called CULTIC, which was announced last year as part of the Realms Deep 2021 event. Judging by the initial reviews, gamers really liked the project.
At the time of writing, CULTIC has a rating of 98%.
The authors have published a release trailer featuring gameplay footage and the game’s soundtrack.
The first chapter of CULTIC contains ten cards. After completing the story levels, gamers can test their strength in the survival mode, where they have to fend off waves of advancing opponents – cult members.
“Prepare to fight your way through the hordes of treacherous cultists. Their pathetic minds have been corrupted by the will of an invisible entity.”says the description.
The game is inspired by the classic shooters of the 90’s, but with modern technology including realistic physics and lighting. Among the features, there is also a large selection of weapons (flame thrower, sniper rifle, machine gun, pistol, double-barreled shotgun and more).

You can buy CULTIC on Steam for 259 rubles. There is a free demo. Recall that previous 3D Realms announced a retro shooter Phantom Fury, which is being developed by the Slipgate Ironworks studio. The main character of Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice was turned into a sexy girl – the author of this version of the Wolf, a developer of Prolab studio Ginyan Chia.
