How to find the Lost Valley dungeon
The dungeon is located on top of the new Rift region. We told you how to access this location in a separate guide. When you do this, find an area called Fuao Gorge. The dungeon is located to the north of this location. The easiest way to get there is to slide down from the Geo Archon statue.
Please note that in order to access the dungeon, the team must have a character with Geo powers – this is necessary to solve the further puzzle.
How to open the Lost Valley dungeon in Genshin Impact
The entrance is blocked by a geo-energy stone slab. There will also be several hilichurls – deal with them. To open the dungeon, you need to place Geo stones equidistant from each other. This can be done using the Traveler’s Geo skills. To do this, go to the statue of Geo Archon and select “Resonate with Geo”.
The energy of the stones must resonate from a large rock nearby, so three stones must be activated. The difficulty is that they are set for a limited time, which means you have to act quickly. To simplify the task, select the main character and activate Geo powers – they last a little longer for him/her than for other characters.
Solving this puzzle will unlock not only the dungeon itself, but also the achievement of Lost Valley.
What enemies live in the Lost Valley dungeon?
In total, the dungeon will have four test levels, with each subsequent one being a little more difficult than the last. The main enemies will be robots – guards (guardian of the ruins, ruin thresher, crusher and others). Characteristic for these opponents are vulnerable points, which you have to hit accurately. Sometimes this helps to immobilize or deal massive damage. It’s good to have a pumped archer or any character that can attack from a distance in the squad. If there aren’t any, focus all your efforts on increasing the physical damage.
- Weak points ruin guard – head and core on the back;
- Weak points Ruin Crusher – a core that opens for a short time in the process of vacuum attacks. It is then that the monster can be dealt the most damage;
- Weakness ruin patrol – head. After several hits on an unprotected spot, the robot is temporarily deactivated, allowing it to deal maximum damage;
- Weakness ruin spy – the robot has no specific places. Since he only hits at close range, it is worth using heroes with long range attacks. Watch out for the accumulation of spies – then they become much stronger;
- Weakness ruin thresher – cores on legs and a mechanical eye. This robot is much more dangerous than any other species. Despite his slow speed, his attacks deal massive damage. To immobilize the enemy – hit the cores in his legs. After a few strokes, the thresher will shoot out of the eye and open it for an attack. The most effective are aimed shots with a bow.
How to get through the Lost Valley dungeon
To defeat all enemies and complete the challenges, focus on one strong character while the rest of the team must increase its damage.
Also do not forget about the effect of the dungeon – an anomaly of the arteries of the Earth. Each time an elemental ability is used, a shock wave is created that deals additional damage to all enemies. Team up with a character with a quick cool of elemental skills to use the dungeon feature as often as possible.
The main opponents in the dungeon are robots, most of which have different attacks. Alone they are not too dangerous, but in a group they can become a serious problem. Try to tackle each enemy individually or you risk falling under a series of attacks from each mechanism in turn.
If you can’t separate the robots, use area attacks or various immobilizing skills that slow down opponents.
Which of the heroes to take to win. The best team
Regardless of your preferences, one of the characters below should definitely be on the team.
- Hu Tao – will help create powerful offensive reactions;
- Bennet is a great supporting character;
- Ayaka – will increase the freeze effect and slow down the enemies;
- Mona – permanent Hydro status, as well as a good burst of elements;
- Zhong Li – knows how to place a powerful shield, his elemental blast will turn enemies to stone;
- Razor is a good attacking character with good damage.
What are the rewards for completing the dungeon?
If you spend 20 Elemental Resin or 1 Thick Resin after solving the puzzle and completing the dungeon, you get:
- 10 bronze stones,
- moru;
- An experience of adventure and friendship.

Cinnabar afterlife
- 2 parts – attack power + 18%;
- 4 Pieces – After an elemental explosion, the attack power is increased by 8% for 18 seconds. Each time the character loses health, his strength will increase by another 10%. The effect accumulates up to 4 times and can only occur once every 0.8 seconds. Reactivating the explosion will remove existing bonuses.
Echoes of Sacrifice
- 2 parts – attack power + 18%;
- 4 Pieces – Hitting an enemy with normal attacks has a 36% chance to increase damage from normal attacks by 70%. The next hit removes this effect after 0.5 seconds. If the bonus is not activated, the chance increases by 20%. The chance to activate can occur at most once every 0.2 seconds.
warrior
- 2 parts – normal and charged attack damage + 15%;
- 4 Pieces – After using an elemental ability, damage from normal and charged attacks is increased by 25% for 8 seconds.
gambler
- 2 parts – elemental ability damage + 20%;
- 4 parts – after defeating the enemy, the used skill is restored. Does not occur more than once every 15 seconds.
