In the second half of last month, a crowdfunding campaign was launched on Kickstarter for an ambitious role-playing game Mandrake. The authors planned to receive $ 110 thousand (about 6.5 million rubles) from gamers interested in the project. But now this amount is already more than $ 144,000 (8.5 million rubles).

Thanks to the success of crowdfunding, the developers have already promised to add a New Game+ mode to the game and six character classes at once (Vanguard, Exorcist, Thief, Heretic, Overseer, and Inquisitor).

The list of targets is constantly updated and therefore the authors are likely to announce additional upcoming innovations in the future. For example, if they manage to raise $180,000 (10.5 million rubles), Mandragora will sell a fully illustrated bestiary with detailed information about each creature. By the way, there are still 21 days until the end of the campaign.

The game takes gamers into a dark fantasy world where people have to hide from the monsters that prey on them. The brave hero must embark on a dangerous adventure to defeat the evil and bring the long-awaited peace.

Mandragora promises to combine chips into one whole Dark Souls 3 and The Witcher 3, including hardcore boss fights, lore refinement, and plot twists. The features also include a non-linear story with many forks.

The game is slated for a simultaneous release in 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. There is a page on Steam.
