BioWare has published a new blog post detailing the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. Since the release ofInquisition” eight years have passed, so the new part was created taking into account the players who will be introduced to the universe for the first time.
While the game will be a good starting point for newcomers, it will also contain many details that only those in the know of the series will understand.
In Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, we try to strike a balance between answering questions from series veterans and creating a game that will appeal to new players or those who only played Inquisition years ago.
Unlike the massive galaxies we explore in other franchises, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf takes us back to Thedas, where we can visit familiar places and see old friends. Some fans haven’t spent any time with Dragon Age since the release of Inquisition, while others have read all the comics and books in that time. And there are people who have never played Dragon Age and have no idea who this bald man (aka Solas) is.
The developers also shared fan art. They are mainly dedicated to the elf Solas, nicknamed the “Dire Wolf”, who will become the main antagonist of the new part.
