Developer gabe687 has posted a new gameplay 4K screenshot of the remake Mortal Kombat Trilogy with new graphics on the Unreal Engine 5. It shows the duel between Shao Kahn and Baraka.
The authors of the Eyeballistic Games studio project also reported that the petition to Warner Bros. owning the rights to the Mortal Kombat brand, so as not to prohibit further development, is approaching 25,000 signatures.
It is worth noting that the first work on the project began in 2016. The idea of making an HD remake was supported by Ed Boon, but Warner Bros. then I doubted the updated Mortal Kombat trilogy would pay off.
The developers have a page on Patreon where anyone can support them financially.
The exact release date for the Mortal Kombat Trilogy remake has not been announced, but the authors have already quoted an estimated price of $40 (the regional price for the West is implied).
