The VK Play gaming platform is going to release more exclusive games in Russia. To do this, she will invest $10 million in collaboration with studios and game developers.

Soon Owlcat Games studio games will appear on the platform (series Pathfinder and Rogue Trader), and in the future, Playrix, Lesta Studio (Wargaming), and Cyberia Limited may also be released there. At the same time, it is noted that not all publishers want to sell their projects in the Russian Federation, since the Russian game industry occupies 2.5-3% of the global industry, and users are accustomed to Steam and EGS. And Owlcat Games has already indicated that they are not yet negotiating with VK Play or other platforms for exclusivity.

We strive for our games to be available on a variety of platforms, meet our audience’s expectations and take into account the interests of our partners, licensees and copyright holders.

It was previously known that Atomic Heart will be removed from Steam in Russia and CIS countries. Instead, it will be available on the VK Play platform.
