WayForward released a new action trailer River City Girls Zero in honor of the upcoming release of this game on Steam. It is worth noting that this project was first released in 1994 on the Super Famicom in Japan, but it will be released on PC for the first time.

River City Girls Zero is a 16-bit co-op beat ’em up action game with four characters: Kunio, Riki, Misako and Kyoko. According to the plot, underage heroes were charged with a crime they did not commit. The characters want to clear their names and find the real criminals.
Each character has unique moves. You can play alone or with a friend on the same device.
“The 1994 visuals, soundtrack and game mechanics have been enhanced with comedic intro and outro cutscenes, a new animated intro, and music by Megan McDuffie and DEMONDICE. Immerse yourself in forgotten classics and learn about River City’s past.”says the description.

River City Girls Zero will be out on Steam on September 22. Earlier this year, the project was released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
