BEE The Last of Us Part 1 is taken from the original project, the Savage Starlight comic series, which consists of 14 collectibles. In this guide, we will explain in detail how to find all the comics in the remake.
Where are all the comics located?
All books are spread over several episodes. On each level you can find one to four collectibles. Below are all the locations where the comics are hidden:
- Pittsburgh (Chapter 5) – 4 items.
- Suburbs (Chapter 6) – 2 articles.
- Tommy’s Dam (Chapter 7) – 2 items.
- University (chapter 8) – 1 subject.
- Lake Resort (Chapter 9) – 2 articles.
- Fleet (chapter 10) – 2 pcs.
- Jackson (chapter 12) – 1 piece.
Most of the items are in familiar places, but the developers have moved the location of some comics anyway. In the following sections, we’ll go through these collectibles in chronological order. Completing the entire comic series will earn you the “We Can’t Break Us” achievement.
How to read all comics
Unfortunately, even if you collect all 14 collectibles, you won’t be able to read the inside of the comics. Only the front and back of the books are available for players to view. There is no other way to open and read them. The text on the back of each comic briefly mentions some of the events that took place in the game, or refers to the relationship between the characters. The player will not be able to learn more from the Savage Starlight series.
Early fans of The Last of Us believed they were hinting at a new game or unannounced project using Naughty Dog comics, but later the developers didn’t force the stories from the Wild Lands comic series in any way, so players of the moment will can’t get acquainted with it in any format.
How to Find Comics in Pittsburgh
Problem #3 – Wildstars: Leyline
The comic automatically enters the player’s collection after the chapter has started. Ellie will find it and show it to Joel in the car. You can study the item a little later, after a skirmish with the first group of enemies.
Number #1 – Wild Stars: “Heliosphere”
At some point, Joel will leave the building with the fighters. The hero will notice a large bridge in the distance and will be close to the bus. We enter the transport and collect the collectible.
Issue #6 – Wild Stars: Accretion
After a while the heroes will be in the hotel. Joel will have to get out of the basement of the building and find the key card. Ellie will later save her partner. We immediately go up the stairs and go to the next room. We leave through the left door, we look through the crack at the damaged balcony. We move to this location and pick up the collectible that is on the left of the table.
Track #10 – Wild Stars: “Deep Phase”
Later, Joel and Ellie will meet Henry and Sam. We go down the stairs and open the door behind which is a large number of additives. We follow to the left and find the nursery. We grab another book on the table by the monitor.
How to find comics in Suburbia
Issue 11 – Wild Stars: “Antiparticles”
Once Joel comes ashore at the very beginning of the episode, you’ll need to head over to the boat ahead. We climb on the watercraft and go to the cabin. We examine the room and lift the collectible from the table.
Problem #2 – Wild Stars: “Memory Carrier”
After exiting the sewer, the player must walk on a small road. We go past the ice cream truck and enter the house on the left. We ascend to the upper floors and pick up a book in one of the bedrooms. This is one of the changed items – previously the collectible was hidden on the toilet in the bathroom. There is a safe on the second floor of this location. Instructions on how to hack the vault can be found in our separate article. Keep in mind that after meeting the sniper, you can’t return to the house, so you’ll have to start the chapter over to collect the comic.

Issue #5 – Wild Stars: “Alien Element”
At the beginning of the episode, Joel has to pass under a huge bridge. We head straight down the slope and find a broken-down car with El Diablo, a powerful short-barreled revolver. We descend further and keep on the right side of the slope. We do not make our way through the passage under the bridge, but turn right immediately before it. We look at the overturned car, which is already overgrown with plants. The collectible is in front of him on the grass.
Issue #12 – Wild Stars: “Null Field/Event Horizon”
Towards the end of the episode, Joel has to follow Ellie to the ranch. After a while the hero gets off the horse, so we go straight into the village house on the farm. Climb to the top floor and turn left. The book is placed on the windowsill in the bedroom.

Issue #7 – Wild Stars: “Free Radicals”
At the very beginning of the episode, Joel and Ellie will be on horseback. We immediately turn around and follow the road in the opposite direction. We get into the car without a door and find a collector’s item in the left back seat.

Issue #4 – Wild Stars: “Uncertainty”
The chapter begins with Ellie going hunting. The girl tries to find the deer and on her way comes to a destroyed wooden building. We make our way in through the hole in the wall. Immediately turn left and enter a small room. In the room, inspect the desk and pull out the drawer. Inside we find another collectible.
Number 8 – Wild Stars: “Ninetropy”
Later, Ellie will try to escape from the bandits on horseback. After a while the girl will have to get off the animal and continue on foot. We climb the plot into a small sewer pipe. At the exit we immediately go up the stairs. At the top we approach the wooden bench and lift the collection book.
How to find comics in the parking garage
Number 9 – Wild Stars: “Precipitation”
At some point in the chapter, Joel will notice a herd of giraffes. After descending the stairs, turn immediately right and go to the public toilet. The strip is in the corner of the room before the far right booth.
Track #13 – Wild Stars: “Catalysis”
Moments later, the man will have to fight the zombies and navigate through the flooded tunnels. Towards the end of the episode, Joel gives Ellie a ladder and the heroes get to the vent. The mine is on the left and you can walk past it. We move forward and at the very end we pick up a collectible that is on a metal pipe.

Track #14 – Wild Stars: “The Singularity”
Soon the heroes will have to climb through a barbed wire fence. Joel keeps it for Ellie. We turn right and find an abandoned pickup truck. The last item of the collectible comic set has arrived.
