The developers have announced the transfer of the real-time strategy Men of War 2. Publisher Fulqrum Publishing and studio Best Way have announced that the game will be released in 2023, although it was planned to release earlier this year. The reason for the transfer there was the need to add new content and improvements, which were requested by the participants in the closed beta tests.
The studio said the extra time would allow the Best Way team to add a separate campaign for the Third Reich and new missions for other factions to the game, as well as improve the gameplay. The authors promised to provide new information on this matter in the near future.
Delaying the release of a project you hold dear is always a difficult decision. However, we believe that meeting deadlines should never come at the expense of quality, and we’re glad Fulqrum Publishing has committed to giving us the time we need to make a truly great game.
Plus, the release delay gives us plenty of time to polish and balance the project, which is so necessary for a game of Men of War 2’s scale.
The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
