A cinematic trailer for a third-person cyberpunk shooter with battle royale elements was shown at the Future Games Show Off The Grid, co-created by Neill Blomkamp, director of District 9 and Elysium. The video introduces gamers to the universe of the game.
The authors position Off The Grid as a AAA-class project with support for NFT elements, which is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5. The game features PvP battles for 150 people and PvE story missions on a single map. Its integration with the GunZ blockchain platform allows gamers to trade in-game items – gear, weapons, and other resources.
Off The Grid will be released in 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
