CD Projekt in a new financial report not only shared news about future games, but also fairly curious sales statistics The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
On the first slide you can see the ratio of the physical and digital copies of the “Witcher” (the gray color is “physics”, red – “number”). In 2015, boxing versions brought half the win, but over time their popularity gradually decreased.
The second slide shows information about the platforms on which the game is sold. A curious moment: the version for Nintendo Switch was often a lot of demand than on Xbox consoles.
The following two slides contain the same data, but for Cyberpunk 2077 and additions Phantom Liberty. Here the photo is completely different: digital versions practically moved disc copies, and the PC game was noticeably sold better than on consoles.
Previously confirmed CD Projekt that The Witcher 4 will be released after 2026. Most likely the game will not only appear on the current platforms, but also on the consoles of the next generation.
