ArenaNet announced that on August 23, shareware MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is coming to Steam. This will happen 10 years after its release – the game was released in 2012. For this event, the authors have created a new trailer.
In honor of its release on Steam, the game is getting a brand new edition – The Complete Collection, which will include three major additions Heart Of Thorns, Path Of Fire, and End Of Dragons, as well as all Living World episodes. The Steam version supports crossplay – Valve Store users can play along with gamers starting the project through their own launcher.
Guild Wars 2 has been widely acclaimed as one of the best MMORPGs of recent years. It has a score of 90/100 on Metacritic. According to the authors, more than 16 million people around the world have played the project in 10 years.
