The players have chosen the best mod of the decade. Russian modification for “Stalker” entered the TOP-5

In honor of ModDB’s 20th anniversary, the portal’s creators conducted a poll in which users chose the 5 best customizations of the past decade.

The honorable first place by a huge margin was taken by the Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos mod for Gothic 2: Gold Edition, a full-fledged prequel to the first “Gothic”. The project can offer a new region: a huge island of Arholos, a storyline for 60 hours of gameplay, more than 170 missions, 200 random events, 100 new armor and weapons, its own professional voice acting, an original soundtrack and new mechanics. The change is available on GOG and Steam, where it has received nearly 10,000 reviews (98% positive).

It is noteworthy that the Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos mod received more votes than the other four mods combined.
