The imagination of some modders convinced TeamKill Media to release their new project Code Violet only on PlayStation 5. At least, this is the explanation the developers gave in response to player questions.
Recently the makers Quantum error and Son and Bone have announced another dinosaur horror game, Code Violet. The project remembered many people with horror Capcom’s Dino Crisis, which quickly dubbed the game the ‘spiritual successor’. The main character of the action is Violet Sinclair, who must unravel the mysteries of the bioengineering complex and fight many monsters, including prehistoric lizards. You can watch the first trailer below:

The catch is that the project will only release on PS5, although TeamKill Media has previously released some projects on Steam (such as Son and Bone). Furthermore, as noted by the DSOGaming portal, the trailer used footage shot on a PC.
Why isn’t the game coming to PC? The developers at TeamKill Media responded as follows:
The reason is that we don’t want anyone to make mods with vulgar versions of the main character and other characters in the game. We have great respect for our voice actresses and actors, as well as our artistic vision of the game and story, and reject any form of destruction of them through sexualization mods. Turning art into a joke and potentially tarnishing the reputation of our actors is not worth the money we can make.
As for Code Violet, its release will take place in July this year. The game has already been given a page in the PlayStation Store.
Let us remind you that in the fall of 2024, a clone of Dino Crisis was released using the Unreal Engine 5 from a single developer. And in December the release took place ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition for mobile devices.
