The MP1ST publication revealed details of the remake of the third-person action adventure Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which has not yet been officially announced. The information should be interpreted as yet another rumor.

- The project is described as more than just a game with improved graphics;
- Some gameplay mechanics will be reworked;
- The game is being developed on the improved Anvil engine;
- The release could take place in November 2025;
- New game systems will be added. Some of them are specifically related to combat and the ecosystem.
Popular insider and gaming journalist Tom Henderson also confirms that a remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is in development. He previously also listed the projects that Ubisoft will release before the end of 2026.
Let’s not forget that the original Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was released in 2013. On Steam the game has 88% positive reviews.
