As known, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (our review) came out without a story campaign. Treyarch had to cancel the mode due to technical issues and time constraints. Redditor Purpletoaster20 today posted more than 400 internal images that provide insight into the campaign.
The Black Ops 4 campaign was called “Career” and was designed for co-op. In it, two teams of two people had to perform different tasks and fight each other from time to time. Depending on which team wins, the goals of the tasks changed. Each mission is designed for 15-20 minutes.
The game is set in 2070 after the events of Black Ops 3. There were two factions to choose from: the World United Nations and the Free People’s Army.
Most images are from early 2017, so some items are unedited. The story mode was canceled in early 2018.
The leak also contained descriptions of four missions. In one of the first missions, players had to defend or attack an air raid convoy. In another, the first team tried to steal the data, and the second had to quickly mine the object.
