Last week, the Electronic Arts website reported that the company has included support for YooMoney payments in the EA app and Origin. Previously, it was disabled at the request of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, affecting the purchase of games from Russia. However, the system is now working again, according to the company. The news immediately hit the media.

EA also noted that it is now possible to make refunds through YooMoney. The company said users must contact them to receive a refund for a purchase paid for through YooMoney.

However, payment attempts were unsuccessful. The situation was clarified by the EA Community Manager, who stated that the article was automatically updated based on last year’s old announcement due to the rebranding of EA Desktop to EA App.

Users from Russia can therefore not pay for games or programs for the time being. YouTube deleted Dmitry Puchkov’s channel
