GSC Game World studio has announced the first patch for STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The update will be released between November 25 and December 1 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Patch details:

  • Fixed memory allocation issues that caused the game to crash;
  • Fixed bugs blocking the passage of the main plot;
  • Fixed bug where NPCs would get stuck in objects;
  • Fixed incorrect display of quest markers;
  • Fixed issues with story cutscenes;
  • Improved quests “Visions of Truth” and “Small Incident”;
  • The prices for weapons with attachments have changed;
  • Improved NPC behavior;
  • Fixed a bug where facial animations for NPCs were missing;
  • Fixed a bug that caused NPCs to be in the wrong places;
  • Improved quality of visual effects;
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from closing the exchange screen;
  • Fixed a bug where notifications were displayed incorrectly during dialogs;
  • Bugs with text fixed and some tips missing.

The developers also said that future updates will fix bugs with the A-Life system and analog stick dead zones on gamepads.

Two days after the game’s release, GSC Game World announced on social media that it had sold over a million copies of the second Stalker.
