The blogger said this is not a fake, although many people think it is. The game has gamepad support, which was the main argument that this is just a fancraft. Reportedly “It doesn’t matter who.” he made such a mod himself, as he had previously released Darkest Time. However, the enthusiast explained why this is not the case.
Just play Darkest Time. You will immediately understand that it is technically not as advanced as this console port. If you open the bin folder in this port, you will see that all the dlls are hardwired in the exe. The original game has more than twenty dlls and one exe. And in the port there are a total of five dlls, everything is wired in the exe. This means that you have to modify the engine a lot. I don’t have those skills.
He also stated that some years ago GSC Game World was looking for specialists in the X-Ray Engine, which was used in the first part of the game. After all, STALKER 2 is being developed on Unreal Engine.
Finally, he clarified that the studio can now cancel the port on the console, as the data has already been leaked to the network.
About STALKER 2
According to “It Matter Who.” the new game is made with a focus on the story, a lot of resources are spent on it. At the same time, development is most likely at an early stage as GSC started work on the STALKER 2 interface in 2021, although this is usually done at the beginning of a game. The blogger also said the trailer at E3 was fake.
