In honor of the upcoming crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, the independent studio Dead Drop has released a trailer for its first-person game Outbreak: Shades of Horror. The video showed gameplay footage.

The game is described by the developers as a co-op horror shooter in which gamers must survive in the city of Cypress Ridge in September 1999. There are several characters to choose from with their own characteristics and unique storylines. The main enemies are mutated humans.

You can play online co-op with three friends or via split screen. A single mode is also available.

“Your group will have to collect supplies, fight the undead and traverse the city in hopes of escaping. Death is just the beginning! When players die, they are resurrected as zombies with one goal: to kill their former allies. Each scenario has branching paths and multiple endings, and your group’s decisions directly affect their ultimate fate.”— that’s how the developers describe the project’s gameplay.

Features include mutilation, a variety of weapons, an advanced crafting system that allows you to craft healing potions and equipment, puzzles, and a high degree of complexity.

The Kickstarter fundraiser for the development of Outbreak: Shades of Horror will begin on August 31. The game can already be added to your wishlist on Steam. ‍ 11 Genshin Impact Clones
