The well-known publication Bloomberg, citing its sources, announced the cancellation of the mobile game in the Warcraft universe, which was made for about 3 years. The reason for the cancellation of the project was the disagreement between Blizzard and Netease over financial matters. Apparently, the companies could not agree on the division of profits.
The game was codenamed Neptune and was supposed to become a full-fledged MMORPG in the cult world World of Warcraft. The events of the project would take place in Azeroth, but in a different time period. A team of 100 people worked on the project, which after the cancellation of the game decided to dissolve – only a few developers were transferred to new positions.
Neptune is the second Warcraft mobile game to be canceled. Earlier, a project with the working title Orbis was canceled. It has been made for about 4 years.
Please note that a shareware action strategy is currently under development. Warcraft Arclight Rumble, where players must collect miniatures. They promise to release the project before the end of this year.🖥 Good news – The Last of Us: Part 1 will be available on PC “very soon after its release on PS5”
