Modder Richard has found a rather unusual way to increase the frame rate in Elden Ring without having to upgrade your computer’s hardware. He has already released the corresponding change, which is still in beta.

The mod removes the large-scale Tree of Erd from the game, which lights up the locations in the Interearth. This element of the in-game world plays an important role in the story and lore of Elden Ring, and so unless absolutely necessary, it’s clearly not worth playing around with a mod that removes it.

The modder said that due to the high number of particle effects, the Tree of Erd has a significant impact on performance. This is especially noticeable when you get close to him. After the author removed it from the game, the frame rate increased by 15 FPS to 30 FPS on the GT 1030 graphics card.

“This mod has practically reduced the video card requirements”said the mud.

Remember that before, with the help of other mods, Widowmaker from Overwatch and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider. And they were completely gutted. The neural network drew portraits of Dota 2 characters
