Kwalee Gaming has published a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming game called The Precinct, which is called ‘GTA about a cop’ on the internet. The video showed a car chase, an upgrade tree, battles with criminals and the controls of a helicopter.
Additionally, a demo of The Precinct will be released on Steam on October 14 as part of the Next Fest festival.
The release of the full version of the game will take place in the fourth quarter of this year, although the authors initially planned to release the project in August, but decided to postpone the release to better refine the gameplay.
In The Precinct, the player takes on the role of a police academy graduate tasked with maintaining order in the city of Averno. The setting is in the style of 80s noir. There’s an open world, procedurally generated crimes, the ability to call in reinforcements, as well as changing times of day and dynamic weather.
