The streaming service Netflix has purchased another new product. Today saw the premiere of the anime series “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft”.
The events of the show pick up after the plot of the final Tomb Raider trilogy. This time, brave Lara searches for the thief who stole a powerful Chinese artifact from her home. On her journey she will once again face a strong opponent. The show is written by Tasha Huo, known for the miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin.

All eight episodes can now be viewed on Netflix. So far, the series has not received reviews from viewers and critics, but some publications have already published reviews. For example, Discussing Film called the anime a “Saturday morning cartoon”, criticized its average dialogue and shallow characters, and gave it a rating of 3 out of 5. And the IGN reviewer even called the show “mediocre”, giving it a score of 5/10 .
Let us remind you that recently the Japanese branch of Warner Bros. shared the first look at the Joker and Harley Quinn in the anime Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League. And before that, Netflix announced when the animated series based on Dante from Devil May Cry will start.
