In 2015, Turtle Rock Studios released an asymmetric shooter Evolve, which required four players to hunt one monster. However, this opponent can evolve and change. All five characters were controlled by gamers.
However, the idea “didn’t get off the ground then”, the players quickly abandoned the project and online almost slipped to zero. In 2018, 2K shut down the game’s servers, so from then on you could only connect directly to other players. Recently, however, the situation has changed.
Some of the servers were relaunched, increasing the number of online users 10 times – up to 270 people. The reasons for the reboot have not yet been specified; 2K has not yet commented. At the same time, Evolve Stage 2 itself can no longer be bought in stores, so only those who bought it before can play.
