TrimUI, the company that previously created the Smart Pro portable, has confirmed that it is developing a new Brick pocket game console in a completely different form factor. The first images and videos are already online.
While the Smart Pro’s design is more inspired by the PSP, the Brick is made in the style of the Game Boy Color.
The device is powered by the budget Allwinner A133P chipset with PowerVR GE8300 GPU. There is 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. So the console is probably aimed at games with 8 and 16-bit graphics.
The display measures 3.2 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Dimensions of the case: 109.9 (height) x 73.2 (width) x 19.9 mm (thickness). Weight: 159 grams
There’s a built-in vibration motor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, as well as two USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh.
Release date and price have not been announced yet. TrimUI plans to sell Brick in multiple color options.
Let us remind you that Analogue previously introduced a portable Pocket console in the spirit of the Game Boy Color.
